Job summary

First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management Solution Engineer to work remotely in the United States. You will own SAP TM configuration, end-to-end transportation processes, and associated procedures across ECC and S/4HANA environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP TM, a track record of full-cycle implementations, strong integration knowledge with SD/MM/EWM, and experience with Fiori/UI5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, computer science, or related field; minimum 5 years in SAP TM in a techno-functional role.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP TM modules.
• Proven track record of completing at least two full-cycle SAP TM end-to-end implementations.
• Deep understanding of transportation management processes: Freight Order, Planning, Carrier Selection, Execution, Settlement.
• Strong expertise in SAP TM configuration, with ability to debug, fix, and enhance.
• Solid knowledge of SD/MM/EWM integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP TM Version 9.6 and newer S/4HANA TM capabilities.
• Proficiency in OData services and ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 for TM processes.
• Understanding of SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for TM integration.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of TM processes.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration activities, including mapping of data between SAP TM and other systems.
• Own SAP TM configuration, end-to-end transportation processes, and related procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP TM issues; identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Document SAP TM configurations, tests, and batch jobs; maintain up-to-date docs.
• Ensure SAP TM environments across ECC and S/4HANA stay synchronized.
• Perform QA testing for transportation planning and management scenarios.
• Lead low-level design, testing, and implementation phases with business teams.
• Write functional and technical specs for developments and enhancements.
• Analyze transportation data and develop business solutions with IT/users.
• Review TM customizations and favor standard solutions where feasible.
• Adhere to SDLC governance and standards.
