Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an SAP Transportation/Event Management SME to support a DoD-focused SAP S/4HANA modernization program. This fully remote role aims to transform global transportation visibility, logistics operations, and supply chain management.

Responsibilities include leading SAP TM strategy, configuring visibility and milestone tracking, and translating requirements into scalable designs while collaborating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10 years of progressive SAP, logistics, supply chain, transportation management, or enterprise systems experience.
• 5 years experience focused on SAP TM and/or transportation event management capabilities.
• 5+ years of experience supporting transportation event management, shipment visibility, milestone tracking, exception resolution, operational reporting, and end-to-end transportation processes within SAP TM environments.
• Experience with shipment tracking, event monitoring, and exception management.
• Proven background supporting federal, government, or DoD SAP programs.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM Event Management strategy, design, and best practices.
• Configure transportation visibility, milestone tracking, and alerting solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP TM functional designs.
• Partner with logistics, technical, and government stakeholders to improve operations.
• Support testing, deployment, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
