Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a SAP Data Engineer to design and operate data pipelines, translating business requirements into scalable SAP data models and ensuring seamless integration between SAP source systems and modern data environments.

You will work 100% remotely with flexible hours, collaborating with a global Top 1% of talent and receiving excellent compensation in USD or local currency. This role emphasizes performance, data integrity, and analytics-ready schemas.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related field.
• Proven expertise in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA modeling and Calculation Views.
• Proficiency in data extraction from SAP source systems like ECC and S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of SQLScript for implementing complex business logic.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data extraction processes from SAP source systems like ECC and S/4HANA.
• Build and optimize data models using SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere, and HANA modeling techniques.
• Develop automated ETL/ELT workflows to move and transform data for downstream reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across the SAP data landscape and integrated cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map business objects into standardized, analytics-ready schemas.
• Optimize query performance and storage strategies within the SAP ecosystem to manage large-scale datasets efficiently.
