Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large government contract. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will translate requirements into Technical Design Specifications and develop ABAP solutions, potentially leading/mentoring other developers, and conducting code reviews to ensure quality and maintainable code throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years SAP ABAP development experience for mid-level roles.
• Experience with S/4HANA and Fiori/BTP.
• Proficiency with ABAP technologies: Reports, RFCs, Forms, OOP, BAPIs, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Data Conversions.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into Technical Design Specifications and ABAP solutions.
• Possibly lead or mentor other developers; promote maintainable development practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure quality across the lifecycle.
