Job summary

DeJong Operations Management & Consulting LLC in Edgar, WI is seeking a Process Engineer to drive design and execution of hygienic process systems for food, nutraceutical, and biotech facilities.

This hands-on role requires problem solving, leadership, and travel up to 30% in the U.S. You will collaborate with suppliers, clients and cross-functional teams to meet budgets, schedules, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Food Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in hygienic process system design is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues and develop solutions to drive project success.
• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, CIP procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors and clients on equipment, technologies and project scope.
• Issue RFQs and support scope generation and change orders.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with 3A, USDA, FDA, GMP, QA/QC standards and company policies.
• Monitor resources, budgets, schedules and quality across projects.
• Communicate status and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
