MBE CPAs is seeking a State & Local Tax Manager to lead multi-state tax compliance and consulting for diverse clients. You will manage client relationships, ensure timely delivery of engagements, and advise on SALT issues across several jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a similar role within a public accounting firm.
• Experience with multi-state taxation and SALT consulting.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review multi-state tax returns and filings.
• Advise clients on state and local tax issues.
• Research state and local tax regulations and their impact on client operations.
• Build and strengthen client relationships across multiple jurisdictions.
• Communicate and meet with clients; provide recommendations to address their tax needs.
