Job summary

Kumon North America, Inc. seeks a Salesforce Solutions Developer to design, build, and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow, and APIs.

You will work across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, including Agentforce and AI-driven capabilities. This is a software engineering role focused on custom development and integrations, not declarative configuration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Experience with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, including Agentforce and Einstein AI.
• Proven ability to own a solution from design through production support.
• Strong communication skills translating requirements to technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Flow, and Salesforce security/sharing model.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes for scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Build and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) for intuitive, high-performing user experiences.
• Develop across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, including case management and automation.
• Build and configure Agentforce and other AI-driven capabilities supporting customer service and marketing.
• Design scalable Salesforce data models balancing business requirements, security, reporting, and performance.
• Write and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries with governor limits in mind.
• Determine when declarative solutions vs. custom development is appropriate.
• Integrate external systems via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Own Salesforce solutions through full lifecycle from requirements to production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and communicate clearly.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to platform best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and backlog refinement.
