Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across Salesforce platforms. This remote role is open to qualified applicants in Boston, MA, with a focus on scalable, secure, and integrated enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities include designing across Sales, Service, Experience, FSC, and Industry Cloud offerings, guiding integration patterns, and applying DevOps practices to deployments. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience with at least 7+ years Salesforce experience.
• Proven experience as Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Lead Salesforce Architect.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Architect solutions across Salesforce Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, FSC, and other Salesforce Industry Cloud offerings.
• Analyze business requirements and map Salesforce capabilities to processes with minimal customization.
• Design scalable and maintainable solutions using Apex, LWC, Flows, Platform Events, and integrations.
• Define and implement enterprise integration architectures using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, and middleware.
• Establish and govern Salesforce data architecture, security models, data governance, DevOps, and deployment strategies.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and design authority sessions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Drive governance, quality, scalability, security, and performance across implementations.
• Evaluate platform capabilities and recommend strategic solutions for growth.
