Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Salesforce nCino Developer to design, develop, and implement banking solutions on the Salesforce and nCino platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on development, integrations, and a solid understanding of lending processes.

This remote position offers collaboration with analysts and architects, exposure to CI/CD, and opportunities to work across Commercial Lending, Retail Banking, and Loan Origination modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform development experience.
• 2+ years of nCino implementation and development experience.
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flow
• SOQL/SOSL
• Salesforce Security Model
• Integration patterns and APIs
• Experience with DevOps and deployment tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of banking, lending, and financial services processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Salesforce and nCino platforms.
• Configure and customize nCino modules, including: Commercial Lending, Retail Banking, Loan Origination, Customer Engagement
• Develop and maintain Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Salesforce Flows.
• Build and support integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment activities, and production support.
• Ensure adherence to Salesforce and nCino best practices, security standards, and governance policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Salesforce and nCino applications.
• Support release management and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
