Job summary

Tripoint Solutions is seeking an experienced Application Developer to join a remote team working on Salesforce Education Cloud and related enterprise solutions. You will analyze requirements, translate them into technical specs, and develop both custom applications and Salesforce-based solutions.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable design, integration with other systems, and ongoing optimization. You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, QA, and developers to deliver robust

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience developing web, enterprise, or Salesforce applications.
Experience with a complex, customized Salesforce org, including custom objects and security.
Proficiency with Flow Builder, validation rules, permission sets, and sharing rules.
Experience moving configurations through sandboxes to Production.

Responsibilities

Configure and maintain the Salesforce Education Cloud environment including flows, rules, and dashboards.
Work across the Education Cloud data model (Contact, Course Connection, Program Enrollment, Program Plan).
Support the Education Cloud migration, environment configuration, testing, and validation.
Investigate and resolve data quality issues across integrated systems.
Configure and maintain Case management, queues, and assignment rules for high-volume student support.
Build and maintain automation for admissions and application processing.
Support Salesforce Digital Experiences content behind Student Portal and public sites.
Perform data loads, deduplication, and record merges using Data Loader or similar tools.
Write Apex, triggers, or Lightning Web Components where declarative solutions don’t suffice.
Move changes from Sandboxes to Production on a three-week release cadence.
Ensure configuration meets Section 508 and federal security requirements.
Document configuration decisions, data fixes, and operating procedures.
