Job summary

Forrester's Salesforce team is seeking a motivated Salesforce Developer to support and enhance our Salesforce platform and integrations. This remote role will operate on IST hours (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM).

You will own solutions across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with product delivery managers, architects, admins, and developers, and stay current with every release to keep Forrester advancing securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications are preferred.
Experience as a Salesforce Developer.
Experience with middleware, SOAP- and REST-based web services, XML, JavaScript, and SOA principles.
Solid data design experience including ETL; messaging; integration strategies.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and deployment tools like Gearset or Copado.
Experience working within complex or highly customized Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities

Triage, scope, design, and build solutions to support existing functionality and innovate new features.
Share stewardship of configuration and coding throughout the development lifecycle to maintain a tidy and scalable environment.
Share knowledge with technical and nontechnical audiences as needed.
Seek improvement of development processes, promote best practices and quality work.
