Job summary

TruSummit Solutions seeks an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst (Functional) to support CRM initiatives in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry. You will collaborate with the Marketing Content Product Owner, stakeholders, and delivery teams to translate needs into actionable requirements for Agile sprints.

The role emphasizes strong Salesforce functionality, requirements gathering, and backlog management.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a functional Business Analyst/Salesforce BA or similar CRM-focused role.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce CRM, its core capabilities, workflows, configurations, and business applications.
Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with stakeholders and Product Owners to prioritize and manage Agile backlogs.
Break down and size requirements into deliverable items for sprint delivery.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
Experience supporting marketing-related processes, content workflows, or CRM-driven marketing initiatives.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
Experience supporting UAT, functional testing, and release readiness (Remote/Telecommute).
Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud/Data 360; experience with Veeva or CRM platforms in regulated industries.
Knowledge of marketing content management, campaign workflows, and customer engagement.
Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile PM tools.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Administrator).
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance in pharma environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Marketing Content Product Owner and stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and priorities.
Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements for Salesforce CRM and marketing initiatives.
Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify requirements, dependencies, and expectations.
Prioritize and refine the product backlog based on value and capacity; break down complex items for sprint delivery.
Support testing, UAT, and validation of completed functionality.
Collaborate with Salesforce admins, developers, and architects to ensure feasible solutions and best practices.
