Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Salesforce Architect & Technical Development Lead to support the Veterans Benefits Administration. You will drive near-term delivery and long-range platform strategy across Salesforce, Dynamics, Pega, and ServiceNow. This 100% remote role partners with VA stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.

You will guide architecture, enforce DevOps practices, and mentor developers while aligning with federal AI, privacy, and security policy.

Qualifications

Demonstrated Salesforce integration experience across API-based and middleware-driven patterns.
“Hands-on Agentforce experience designing and deploying agentic capabilities.”
“Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling and source-driven development.”
“Experience with SaaS/PaaS integrations across platforms (Salesforce, Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, etc.).”
“Proven delivery of technical solutions using a Human-Centered Design approach.”

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and delivery in partnership with VA's Digital Transformation Center and stakeholders.
Own the technical vision for the platform prioritizing declarative/configuration-first solutions.
Ensure team works in DTC sandboxes across VA environments.
Deliver capability through agile, configuration-first sprints grounded in HCD and SaaS/PaaS.
Establish modern Salesforce DevOps practices with CI/CD and sandbox management.
Document requirements for features spanning config, development, integration, QA, and test automation.
Guide adoption of Agentforce and AI capabilities aligned with VA policy.
