Job summary

Onward Search is hiring a Sales Director for Manufacturing & Engineering Staffing in a 100% remote capacity across the United States. You will own a book of business, build strategic client partnerships, and drive revenue growth while coaching a small team of Business Development Managers.

The role emphasizes a hands-on, entrepreneurial sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leverages AI-enabled tools to optimize sourcing, outreach, and closing deals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business development and sales experience, preferably in staffing.
• 1+ years of leadership or management experience in staffing.
• Proven track record of building and growing a staffing book and meeting targets.
• Experience in Manufacturing & Engineering staffing markets preferred.
• Established network of client/direct hiring manager relationships preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow an individual book of business within the Manufacturing & Engineering staffing market.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase revenue and expand the client base.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and referrals.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and hiring leaders across manufacturing, engineering, industrial, and related organizations.
• Lead and coach a small team of Business Development Managers.
• Utilize AI-enabled recruiting and sales workflows to improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate data in Bullhorn and internal systems.
• Meet or exceed sales, activity, revenue, and gross margin targets.
