Job summary

Workiva is seeking a Sales Data Analyst to empower the sales team with insightful dashboards and reports using BI tools, CRM, and reporting software. You will perform ad-hoc analyses and summarize data into presentations with visuals and commentary, collaborating across departments to support data-driven decisions.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 2+ years in sales analytics, strong SQL, advanced Excel, and experience with dbt or cloud data warehouses.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI or Quicksight for dashboards.
• Strong SQL knowledge and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience with dbt or cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards/reports with BI tools to enable sales insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses in Excel and other data tools to answer key questions.
• Summarize data into clear presentations with visuals and commentary.
• Track global sales KPIs and ensure data accuracy across regions.
• Suggest process improvements for data collection and reporting efficiency.
• Build relationships with sales and operations leadership.
• Ensure data integrity through regular quality checks.
• Contribute to standardized reporting for reliable data presentation.
• Provide insights to inform sales strategy and performance.
