Job summary

NPAworldwide represents a leading global manufacturer seeking a Sales Application Engineer to support and grow the Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Northern Tennessee territory. You will combine strong technical expertise in cutting tools, CNC machining, and metalworking with proven technical sales experience.

The role is remote/field-based within the territory, with up to 50% travel and a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.

Qualifications

5+ years in cutting tools or CNC-based technical sales
Strong knowledge of milling, turning, hole-making
Ability to travel up to 50% within territory

Responsibilities

Manage and grow an established sales territory
Promote and sell precision cutting tools and tooling solutions
Provide technical application support for milling, turning, hole-making
Evaluate machining processes and recommend cutting tools and parameters
Conduct and document tooling trials to improve tool life and productivity
Troubleshoot tooling performance and reduce cost per part
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop tooling solutions
Develop distributor relationships and provide technical product support
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and cost analyses
