What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Remotely sell Medtronic's Surgical Innovations products and retain end-user customers within an assigned territory
- Develop and execute a SMART Territory Sales Plan to meet or exceed business development goals
- Present product features and benefits to clinical and economic stakeholders using tailored sales methodologies
- Educate clinical and non-clinical contacts on product applications and functionality
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with clinicians, supply chain partners, and end users
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 2+ years documented sales success or equivalent experience, preferably in tangible products
- Strong understanding of healthcare sales dynamics, particularly in medical devices or capital equipment
- Proven ability to work independently and drive results
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare sales, particularly in surgical sales or medical devices
- Knowledge of sales techniques and relationship-building strategies
- Familiarity with technology applications such as iPad, SalesForce.com, and SAP
- Experience selling complex products via phone, email, and virtual platforms
- Degree in biological science or business preferred
