Job summary

GROWMARK, Inc. in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Safety and Environmental Services Specialist to assist in developing and executing safety and environmental loss prevention programs. The role emphasizes training, audits, and regulatory compliance across the FS System.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field (or 2+ years of relevant experience) and be capable of independent and team-based work. A 24-hour HAZWOPER certification is required within 1 year of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental, or industrial technology or equivalent.
• 2+ years in advanced safety/environmental/OSHA-related experience acceptable for training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluation, development, and implementation of safety and environmental programs.
• Develop and implement annual risk management reviews/plans.
• Monitor laws and regulations impacting compliance programs.
• Provide local safety training within the GROWMARK/FS System.
• Create and perform standardized inspections, audits, and assessments.
