Job summary

Actalent seeks a Safety-Critical Control Systems Engineer to develop and integrate safety-critical systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles. You will participate in systems engineering activities and embed controls software with cross-functional teams to ensure program success.

The role involves C/C++, Simulink, SysML, and vehicle networks (CAN/Ethernet) across prototype and production programs, with a focus on safety-critical software development and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 3+ years of systems, controls, software, or vehicle engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned or optionally manned ground vehicles.
• Support systems engineering activities: requirements, architecture, SysML modeling, software integration.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded controls software using C/C++, Simulink, CAN and Ethernet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype and production vehicle programs.
