Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Safety-Critical Control Systems Engineer to develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful vehicle program execution, focusing on embedded controls software and system-level engineering.

The role involves development, testing, and validation using C/C++, Simulink, and vehicle networks, with a contract arrangement and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or CS is required.
• 3+ years in systems, controls, software or vehicle engineering.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned or manned vehicles.
• Support systems engineering activities: requirements, architecture, SysML modeling, software integration.
• Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded controls software using C/C++, Simulink, CAN/Ethernet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for prototype and production vehicle programs.
