Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Smart3D Administrator to support S3D, BIM/PIM, and VDC initiatives on remote/hybrid projects.

You will lead 3D pipe supports, isometric extraction, and scripting in VB/C#, .NET while coordinating with multiple offices to ensure model integrity and streamlined workflows. Strong focus on data management and automation is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience supporting Smart 3D (S3D) environments.
• Background in piping design and isometric generation is preferred.
• Experience with .NET, VB/C#, and scripting for automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D Pipe Supports and hangers in .Net.
• Create and maintain 3D Pipe Parts in .Net.
• Place pipe supports and components and test in the 3D model.
• Test pipe supports and components in isometrics extraction.
• Coordinate project requirements and standardize naming and catalog rules.
• Coordinate Citrix server and database requirements for all 3D systems.
• Create projects in 3D systems; load code lists, templates, catalogs; develop reports.
• Create and manage isometric configurations and templates with input from engineering staff.
• Develop department and project-specific reports and reporting methods.
• Implement Model Data Reuse / Transform strategies.
• Administer and manage clash detection and automated allocations.
• Schedule and monitor backups/archives.
