Job summary

National General is seeking a Desk RV/Specialty Estimator to assess damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate writes estimates from photos and remote inspections and understands vehicle structures and repair processes.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience; licensing is not required but preferred, and candidates without a license should be willing to obtain one during training.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating damages for RVs, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles.
• Ability to write estimates from photos and remote inspections.
• Familiarity with RV estimating platforms (CCC One or Duncan) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create or audit damages estimates for 1st and 3rd party material damage losses.
• Understand policy types written by the company.
• Negotiate settlements and document activities across complex files.
• Evaluate settlements for regulatory compliance and best option.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers across lines.
