Job summary

National General is seeking an RV/Specialty Appraiser to support field operations across the Gainesville, Daytona, Ocala and Northern Orlando areas. In this role, you will assess and estimate damages on RVs, motorcycles, trailers, and commercial vehicles, helping ensure accurate and timely claim resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating and handling field auto claims involving specialty vehicles.
• Strong field estimating experience for RVs, motorcycles, trailers and commercial vehicles.
• Ability to interpret policy language and participate in settlements.

Responsibilities

• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities
