Job summary

The Marlin Alliance, Inc. seeks a Solutions Architect to lead the technical direction of digital transformation efforts for Navy-related engagements.

You will own architecture design, guide technology choices, and ensure scalable, secure solutions while bridging client needs with technical delivery teams. You will collaborate with software and data engineers, participate in security and DoD frameworks, and mentor engineers to elevate architectural capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years in software engineering or systems development, with 3+ years in architecture/tech lead.
• UiPath Automation Developer Professional certification.
• Experience designing enterprise solutions across automation, integration, data, cloud, and security domains.
• Strong requirements management, technology evaluation, and architecture documentation skills.
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments.
• Familiarity with PKI-secured systems and DoD security frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years' UiPath experience; able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design for enterprise-scale digital transformation and automation solutions with focus on security and scalability.
• Translate mission objectives into actionable technical roadmaps with client stakeholders.
• Drive technology selection decisions and evaluate new tools against requirements.
• Create and evolve architecture documentation and reference architectures for reuse.
• Collaborate with VP of Technology Solutions and project managers to align architecture with timelines and budgets.
• Mentor development leads and senior engineers to raise architectural capabilities.
• Define and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and quality gates.
• Assess automation, data, and integration opportunities and support build-vs-buy decisions.
• Refine requirements with software, data engineers, and SME to validate solution viability.
• Support proposal development and technical solutioning for new business opportunities.
