Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Full Time Route Driver in Houston, TX to operate a CHEP-owned box truck, perform on-time deliveries and pallet collections, and maintain accurate data in internal systems. You will work with local customers to ensure program compliance and drive route efficiency.

The role emphasizes safety, autonomy, and collaboration, with opportunities to develop relationships and improve processes across LVR operations in a dynamic, national network.

Qualifications

• Willing to lift 65 lbs. regularly.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card with no restrictions.
• Able to execute and optimize provided delivery/collection routes.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working autonomously and developing relationships with new customers.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead peers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CHEP-owned box truck (or similar) in compliance with safety regulations and CHEP standards.
• Deliver and collect pallets and assets at designated locations with efficiency.
• Document delivery/collection data and communicate to CHEP LVR support personnel.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and drive key performance areas.
