Job summary

CHEP in Dallas, TX is seeking a CDL Class A Transport Driver to perform full truck load and multi-stop deliveries with Class 8 equipment. You will optimize routes, recover CHEP assets, and work closely with logistics to ensure timely asset retrieval and customer partnerships.

The role requires 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 65 lbs. The position offers competitive pay and benefits from Day 1, including 401K and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Class A DOT Driver License.
• Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card with no restrictions.
• Ability to hook and unhook trailers from tractors.
• Able to lift 65 lbs. as needed.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working autonomously and solving problems on the fly.

Responsibilities

• Operate CHEP tractor/trailer in compliance with DOT regulations and CHEP safety rules.
• Deliver and collect empty pallets and other assets at CHEP locations.
• Maintain and report the ongoing mechanical/physical condition of equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely asset retrieval.
• Build relationships with customers and non-participating distributors to grow CHEP program participation.
• Document delivery/collection data and communicate with CHEP support.
