Job summary

A quality improvement consulting company is seeking a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to assess compliance with federal regulations. The role is fully remote but entails up to 75% travel to various healthcare facilities. Candidates must have a nursing degree, relevant survey experience, and the ability to make independent decisions. This full-time position offers a salary of $75,000 to $90,000 along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid vacation, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and passed the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
• Must have at least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor.
• Must maintain current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of healthcare facilities to determine compliance.
• Communicate non-compliance issues to key personnel during exit conferences.
• Conduct follow-up visits to ascertain implementation of plans of correction.
