Job summary

CorVel Corporation is hiring a registered nurse for a Medical Case Manager role in West Michigan. The position combines work from home with extensive local travel to coordinate care for workers’ compensation cases.

You will partner with patients, families, physicians, and employers to facilitate recovery and ensure appropriate care within a defined jurisdiction. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration across care teams, with regular business hours and potential overnight

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of operation.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• CCM/CIRS or other case management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telephonic medical case management to injured workers and stakeholders.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, employers, and families to coordinate care.
• Travel locally to assigned locations as required (up to ~60%).
• Attend discharge planning conferences and home visits as part of care delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication across systems.
