Job summary

Highpoint Health Sumner is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Documentation Specialist to join as a remote FT (days). You’ll contribute by applying plan-of-care interventions and driving patient-care innovations with advanced technology.

Qualifications include Tennessee or multi-state RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 12 months if not current, and 4 years either inpatient nursing or coding experience. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current State of Tennessee or Multi-State RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification required and ACLS within 12 months if not current at hire.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing or RN Diploma is required/ preferred.
• Coder Certification or CCDS required with degree in another related field.
• 4 years nursing experience in adult inpatient clinical role or 4 years coding experience (CCS) may be required.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize plan-of-care interventions and act as a patient-care innovator.
• Shape exceptional patient journeys using technology to impact wellbeing.

Education

Associate degree in Nursing

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

RN Diploma in Nursing

BLS certification
