Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking an RN Case Manager to optimize patient care and resource use. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating care plans across settings to ensure quality outcomes and cost containment.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree, active RN license in good standing, and certification in case management (URAC recognized). Experience in care management, discharge planning, and obstetric/neonatal care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license in good standing in state of duty required; active license
• Case management certification required (CCM, ACM, or RN-BC); URAC recognized within 3 years if not obtained before hire

Responsabilités

• Assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates options and services to meet health needs with cost containment in mind.
• Practices nursing within licensure and follows policies, procedures, and URAC standards.
• Provides disease-specific education and knowledge as needed and assigned.
• Keeps current with medical/surgical procedures, products, and contracts.
• Liaises with patients, families, physicians, and other providers to promote quality care and appropriate service levels.
• Works with referrals to identify appropriate candidates for case management and maintains a minimum caseload.
