Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of approved school of nursing.
• Current Massachusetts license as RN or LPN in good standing.
• Understanding of philosophy and model of care at Hebrew SeniorLife.

Responsibilities

• Ensure care delivered within safe nursing practice and established standards.
• Collaborate with MD, NP, social worker, therapists, and dietician to meet patient needs.
• Participate in care planning with RN oversight and individualize plans.
• Document care in the EMR and complete required reports.
• Identify resources and ensure safe, effective care.
• Delegate and supervise nursing assistants; support PCA staff.
• Engage in continuing learning, governance participation, and unit activities.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to staff; potential charge nurse duties.
