• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make sound judgments.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical/behavioral review and authorization aligned with guidelines.
• Assess needs, develop and coordinate member action plans, monitor services/outcomes.
• Document clinical information to support determinations and contracts.
• Escalate or refer cases to internal clinical/support resources when appropriate.
• Provide member/provider education and telephonic support including health coaching.
• Maintain knowledge of contracts and network status; assist with claims questions.
