Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Risk Management Framework (RMF) Engineer to support the DMDC CyberPRIMES program. This role partners with system owners, ISSMs/ISSOs, and government stakeholders to ensure complete, accurate, and current authorization packages for DoD information systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field and 3+ years of experience; degree may be substituted by experience.
• Experience with DoD RMF or comparable federal authorization processes.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or maintaining cybersecurity authorization packages.
• Experience with SSPs, security controls, assessment artifacts, POA&M, or continuous monitoring docs.
• Experience assessing control implementation and supporting evidence.
• Ability to work with system owners and government stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship required and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain RMF authorization packages.
• Review and support development of System Security Plans (SSPs) and related artifacts.
• Maintain RMF authorization schedules, trackers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with system owners and government stakeholders to obtain artifacts.
• Identify missing artifacts and remediation actions to avoid delays.
• Provide RMF and eMASS guidance to stakeholders.
• Support licensing, monitoring, and continuous authorization activities.
• Review control implementations for completeness and accuracy.
• Track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) items through closure.
• Assist with ATO-related processes and reporting.
