Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Risk Management Framework (RMF) Compliance Lead to guide RMF activities across DHRA systems. This remote role requires coordinating with security, engineering, and leadership to apply NIST SP 800-37/800-53 and manage deliverables such as SSPs and SARs.

You will mentor a team of RMF professionals, ensure deliverables are complete and accurate, and serve as the primary RMF contact for internal and external stakeholders while maintaining compliance and a strong security posture.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience supporting ATO, FedRAMP High or federal environments.
• Expert RMF knowledge and ability to implement controls.
• Proven ability creating SSPs, SARs, and POA&Ms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RMF activities and ensure adherence to NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53.
• Provide RMF guidance across DHRA systems to ensure consistent security controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of RMF professionals delivering high-quality documentation.
• Ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
• Act as RMF liaison for internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and secure operational posture across the organization.
• Oversee RMF integration, drive improvements, and promote cybersecurity awareness.
• Lead ATO authorization and maintenance, including control implementation and monitoring.
