Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking experienced software engineers to train next‑generation AI systems by creating reinforcement learning environments that evaluate MCP tool usage and software engineering capability. You will craft realistic, reproducible tasks using real MCP servers for bug fixes, feature development, refactoring and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in at least one of the listed programming languages.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance tuning.
• Experience debugging complex software and delivering maintainable solutions.
• Experience with feature development and codebase refactoring.
• Ability to optimize software for performance and scalability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create RL environments for evaluating AI agents on complex software engineering tasks.
• Design tasks including bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Build environments that require reasoning over information from real MCP servers.
• Develop reproducible environments with deterministic verification.
• Create golden reference solutions to establish expected task outcomes.
• Design evaluations that measure software engineering ability and MCP tool usage.
• Apply engineering judgment to ensure tasks are technically sound and reliable.
