Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is seeking a Risk Lead for the Global Services & Standards team. This remote role requires up to 50% international travel and involves leading risk assessments, developing global standards, and advising senior leaders on risk management across Amazon Security and subsidiaries.

You will own the risk component within a Governance, Risk, and Compliance model, collaborating with security teams, subsidiaries, and partners to apply the right physical security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information security, CS, risk management, engineering, math, statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years in HR, privacy, legal, compliance or risk management.
• Experience owning program strategy and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build data-driven risk assessments for senior leaders.
• Analyze real-world risk with security teams to apply controls.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and practices.
• Lead risk assessment reports and risk treatment plans.
• Develop global risk and resilience programs.
• Produce risk analyses for Amazon Security leadership.
• Stay updated on industry trends and relationships with security partners.
• Travel up to 50% internationally.
