Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is seeking a highly motivated Risk Lead for the Global Services & Standards team. This remote role involves about 50% international travel and ownership of the risk component across policies, standards, technology and training for Amazon Security and its subsidiaries.

You will build risk assessments for senior leaders, partner with security teams worldwide, and help develop global physical security standards and training programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of HR, privacy, legal, compliance or risk management experience.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Build programs driven by data and metrics, and align goals with business partners.
• Create and manage global risk and resilience programs for preparation and incident response.
• Run analytical deep dives to identify vulnerabilities and root causes, producing risk reports.
• Complete detailed threat and risk assessments with treatment plans and recommendations.
• Develop standards, procedures and processes across functions to reduce security risks.
• Produce risk analyses for Amazon Security's senior leaders.
• Keep up with industry trends and foster key relationships with industry contacts.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related discipline

7+ years of HR, privacy, legal, compliance or risk management experience

Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
