Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site risk surveys for insurance clients. You’ll work from home or an office and cover the Allentown area within about 45 miles, plus additional locations as needed.

You will schedule surveys, prepare risk-control reports, and help underwriting by identifying loss-producing conditions while managing your own assignments to meet client timeliness and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety.
• 15-hour online certification option available to qualify.
• Fees negotiable depending on experience and job specifics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to clients.
• Prepare reports with underwriting-relevant information for policy decisions.
• Manage assignments locally, secure appointments, and complete work on time.
