Job summary

PwC is seeking a Risk Consultant to join our risk management and financial product valuation practice. You will work on integrated risk, valuation, and regulatory services for banking, capital markets, insurance, and asset management clients.

The role offers exposure to governance, data, and technology tools, with opportunities to grow in a collaborative environment alongside risk and regulatory experts. Remote work options are available within a regional team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics.
• Master’s degree and certifications like FRM/CFA/CPA are a plus.
• 1–2 years of risk/valuation experience is a plus.
• Quantitative skills with Python, R, VBA or similar tools are beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory framework for financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engagement teams to assess valuation models and financial results in capital management, market and liquidity risk.
• Participate as a project team member in engagements for defining financial product valuation models and assessment of parameters.
• Develop portfolio modelling techniques and explain financial results of portfolios.
• Follow up on risk regulatory framework developments (CRR, CRD, BRRD and directives).
• Work as a team member, share responsibility, support colleagues, maintain communication, update senior team members.
• Leverage data and technology to provide innovative client solutions.
• Prepare high-quality work products for clients and related parties with up-to-date regulatory knowledge.
• Identify risks within engagements and raise issues with senior team members.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
