Qualifications

• Active CPC and/or CCSP or AHIMA certification.
• 2+ years related work experience.
• Ability to work remotely and independently.
• Proficient with ICD-10-CM Guidelines.
• Production-based environment experience.
• Strong medical terminology knowledge.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Review inpatient and/or outpatient records to assign ICD-10 codes for risk adjustment.
• Validate provider documentation and codes for accuracy.
• Meet production targets with 95% quality.
• Document coder observations for non-production improvements.
• Assist Provider Educator during audit results.
• Update SOPs and related documents.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
