Job summary

Zacks Investment Management is seeking an experienced external wholesaler to join our RIA Channel and drive growth with independent RIAs and financial professionals.

In this remote/field-based role, you will travel 50-70% within your assigned territory, develop strategic plans, and partner with internal teams to deliver SMA solutions and custom portfolios. A strong track record in financial services sales and relevant licenses are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in financial services sales, preferably as an external wholesaler.
• Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses required.
• Strong understanding of the RIA business, portfolio construction, tax management, and SMAs.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to grow AUM and advisor relationships in your territory.
• Build and maintain partnerships with independent RIAs, wealth managers, and financial advisors.
• Conduct in-person/virtual meetings, presentations, and educational sessions to showcase SMA offerings and model blends.
• Identify new business opportunities and deepen penetration with existing relationships through consultative selling.
• Provide ongoing product training, portfolio construction guidance, and market insights to advisors.
