Job summary

Checkpoint Systems is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development professional to drive new business growth across RFID labels, systems, and applications. This remote role focuses on two growth areas: Retail RFID Programs and Emerging RFID Applications, driving pilots to scalable deployments with retailers and suppliers, enabling recurring revenue.

The candidate should blend commercial acumen with RFID technical understanding to lead customer discussions and coordinate cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Formal sales training is a plus.
Experience in RFID, automatic identification, or IoT is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify and penetrate net-new customers, applications, and markets for RFID labels and solutions.
Build relationships directly with retailers implementing or expanding RFID programs.
Develop opportunities within retailer supplier communities and help customers meet RFID program requirements.
Identify RFID applications outside traditional retail and develop scalable commercial programs.
Manage opportunities from concept → pilot → commercialization → deployment at scale.
Translate customer workflows into RFID-enabled solutions and build strong business cases.
