Job summary

Future Technologies Venture, LLC is seeking an experienced RF Network Design Engineer to own the design process across multiple projects in Suwanee, GA. You will manage in-house RF network designs for Macro and Inbuilding 5G/4G systems, performing carrier-specific, neutral host, and private network designs using DAS, Small Cell, and FWA technologies.

You will generate coverage solutions, conduct CW and propagation modeling, and create customer deliverables such as link budgets and frequency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years in an electrical engineering design occupation.
• Experience in ALL of the following: cellular 5G/4G network technologies, including DAS and Small cell systems; FWA technologies; DAS OEMs including Corning, CommScope, TE, SOLiD, ADRF, and JMA/TEKO.
• Design experience with Nokia Air scale/MBO, Ericsson DOT, and Spider Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of RF network design and planning for Macro & Inbuilding 5G/4G projects.
• Perform Carrier-specific, Neutral Host, and Private cellular network designs using DAS, Smallcell, and FWA technologies.
• Develop coverage and capacity solutions for indoor/outdoor locations and provide network optimization feedback.
• Create customer deliverables such as link budgets, frequency plans, PCI plans, and propagation maps.
• Support field teams during site construction and commissioning to ensure build per design and troubleshoot RF path issues.
• Utilize simulation tools including ADS, HFSS, and CST for simulations and validation.
