The Design Engineering Technician will interpret architectural and MEP drawings, model and draft shop drawings, and support BOM production and installation. The role emphasizes drafting scope for Division 12 casework and tops, with potential work in related divisions.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field and/or 3+ years of drafting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings to generate shop drawings for various project types and sizes.
• Complete shop drawings in a timely manner and according to company standards.
• Manage project information, maintain notes and documentation, and ensure questions are answered when needed using proprietary software.
• Work in a deadline-driven remote environment that requires independent time management.
• Independently solve problems in close coordination with project team members.
