Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst, Revenue Manager Operations to support the Revenue Manager platform across Care Delivery Organizations. You will lead financial validation, reconciliations, and process standardization, partnering with Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Operations, Technology, and Implementation teams.

The role requires solid analytical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex accounting challenges in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting, finance, revenue cycle, or healthcare operations experience.
• Healthcare revenue accounting experience (Clinics and Hospitals).
• Experience with financial analysis, reconciliations, and problem resolution.
• Experience with financial systems and large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting and operational activities for Revenue Manager.
• Monitor processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Investigate and resolve revenue-related accounting issues.
• Perform detailed analysis of Revenue Manager transactions and reporting.
• Serve as SME for Revenue Manager workflows and accounting impacts.
• Lead validation and testing during implementations and conversions.
• Coordinate cross-functional issue resolution and document learnings.
• Prepare and review reconciliations; analyze variances and risks.
• Develop reporting and dashboards for decision-making.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to optimize outcomes.
