Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to perform in-depth analysis of patient clinical and billing data. You will identify documentation gaps, implement denial prevention plans, and collaborate with teams to improve charge capture and compliance across the revenue cycle.

Responsibilities include audits, inter-department collaboration, and accurately reporting on improvement initiatives. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, finance, accounting, nursing or related field.
• Five+ years in billing, charge documentation, charge audit or related revenue cycle activities.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, revenue codes and modifiers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient clinical and billing data to identify documentation and denial issues.
• Develop and implement action plans for denial prevention based on root cause findings.
• Promote revenue cycle efficiency, data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical areas to document services and understand the relationship between documentation, coding and charging.
