Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in professional revenue cycle
• Familiar with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, medical terminology, claims, EOB
• Proven knowledge of commercial insurance and CMS rules/guidelines
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and related apps
• Proven analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Charge capture, charge reconciliation and denial management monitoring
• Review Chargemaster to ensure accurate fee schedule
• Monitor work queues for timely edits and claim submissions
• Analyze reporting to identify missed revenue opportunities
• Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve processes
• Communicate clearly to educate administrative staff
• Stay updated on payor rules and billing requirements
• Monitor denials to identify trends and solutions
