• Bachelor's degree required in a healthcare operations environment
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in healthcare operations environment or related field
• Managed Care experience
• Experience supervising administrative healthcare teams
• Experience in workforce management
• Experience in operational reporting
• Experience in process improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administrative Utilization Management operations
• Supervise Utilization Operations Supervisors and Representatives
• Manage authorization intake, provider inquiries, work queues, and administrative support
• Review reporting, universes, productivity metrics, and dashboards for improvement opportunities
• Lead workflow redesign and automation to increase efficiency
• Develop staff through coaching and leadership development
• Serve as primary operational escalation point for issues
• Ensure CMS and delegated plan compliance and internal policies
• Support audit readiness and delegation oversight
• Coordinate reporting deadlines and deliverables
