Job summary

Cedars Sinai in Colorado is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist II to support Patient Financial Services. Under supervision, you will review and resubmit claims to payors, perform account follow-up, and keep data up to date in billing systems.

You will work independently with strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills, and may assist other team members. Cross-training in other revenue cycle areas and back-up coverage may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years or more hospital or professional billing/collections experience preferred (four+ years).
• Experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal and other payors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and resubmit claims to third party payors.
• Perform account follow-up and update information in billing systems.
• Understand payor contracts and Cedars-Sinai billing/collections policies.
• Assist other team members as needed.
