Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist II to support commercial collections within Patient Financial Services. You will review and resubmit claims, perform follow-up, and update account information while applying knowledge of payer contracts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You may be cross-trained in other revenue cycle functions and provide back-up coverage.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of hospital or professional billing/collections; 4+ years preferred.
• English fluency required.
• Experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal and other payors a plus.
• Basic computer/navigation skills; MS Office, CS-Link, Emdeon preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides commercial collections support to Patient Financial Services and may review/resubmit claims to third-party payors.
• Perform account follow-up, update information, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Understand and explain payor contracts and CS-Link/billing policies to ensure compliant denials management.
• Monitor work queues, document activity, and escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
• Possess knowledge of Cedars-Sinai core systems and contribute to process improvements.
